Alex was an artist. His creative mind flourished when it came to sewing, costume designing, photography, and thrifting furniture and refurbishing it. He was a wonderful cook specializing in Italian, Hispanic, and Mexican cuisine. Growing up in El Salvador, he was a competitive swimmer. Alex had a knack for understanding technology. He also had a great connection with the elderly. His spiritual views aligned with Buddhism, and he enjoyed learning about the afterlife and consciousness. Above all else, he was a cat lover. His fur babies, Delta and Yellow will miss him dearly.

Alex is preceded in death by his brother, Marco Tulio; and grandma, Josefina "MamaFina."

He is survived by his loving husband of 19 years, Gilbert Aquino; mother, Graciela; father, Marco; brothers, Marlon Clemente and Nestor Clemente; aunt, Gloria; cousin, Ovidio; mother-in-law, Teresa; sisters-in-law, Susan and Nancy; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A Celebration of Alex's Life will be held in Los Angeles at a later date.
