Passed away peacefully June 3rd at his daughter’s home in Oklahoma. Born in Chicago, he went to college at St. Mary’s in Winona, and moved with his wife to St. Paul after a short stint in the Army. Bob’s greatest joy was his family. He was devoted to his beloved wife of 57 years, Annette, and proud of his children, Cindy and Mark. While he had a serious, scientific side, Bob loved to joke, laugh, and make people smile. His rhyming announcements and Christmas letters were legendary. He was lucky to have checked so many things off his bucket list: traveling the world, seeing bears in Alaska, and watching the Cubs win the World Series. He was preceded in death by wife, Annette; sister-in-law, Carolyn; brother-in-law, Jerome; and best friend, John Peter. He is survived and greatly missed by his children; sister, Joan; brother-in- law, Gene; cousins; many nieces and nephews; the Prime Timers; and many other dear friends.
