Passed away peacefully to be with the Lord at age 94. Preceded in death by parents, John M. Rice and Gertrude M. Rice (Holst); sister, Lorraine (Berg); and brother, John. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was a proud lifelong resident of St. Paul, MN. She worked 47 yrs as a legal secretary and office mgr for the law firm of Stringer, Donnelly, Sharood and Rohleder. She became president of the National Assoc. of Legal Secretaries (NALS) in 1960, president of the MN Assoc. of Legal Secretaries in 1963, State Parliamentarian of MN Chapter of Legal Sec. in 1968. Phyllis also taught Legal Sec. classes at St. Paul Vo-Tech. Phyllis loved attending family get-togethers and spending time with friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM on Oct 8, with visitation 1 hr prior, at CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION, 51 W 7th St, St. Paul. Luncheon following service. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
