Molly Elizabeth Mulligan

March 7, 1996 — March 27, 2023

Molly Elizabeth Mulligan was born on March 7, 1996 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN and passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2023 at 27 years old. Her family and friends are deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death. Molly is survived by her mother Angela Bykowski, father John Mulligan, brother John Mulligan II, sister Alexis Bauer, grandparents Steve and Carolyn Campbell, Donald and Anna Mulligan, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Molly was an amazing and talented artist who loved to use a variety of mediums as an outlet for her endless creativity. She used acrylics, drawings, writing, photography and music to express herself. Along with her penchant for art, Molly loved trying new things and had many hobbies including listening to music, playing video games, appreciating nature, collecting colorful pins and trying new make-up looks.

Black was her favorite color; you would most often find her wearing a knit hat, Slipknot T-shirt, black jeans, Doc Martens and either her black sweatshirt or her favorite black trench coat she found thrift shopping with her mom. Molly loved candy, coffee and shopping "the bins" with her sister Lexi. Most of all she had a deep love of animals, especially her cat Kirby.

Molly was not only beautiful on the outside with her piercing blue eyes and striking black and blue hair, but she was also beautiful on the inside. Even though she came off as shy with first impressions, her personality would never fail to shine through. She was a great listener, and would always make time for others. Molly loved spending time with her family and friends, sharing stories, jokes and laughs whenever she was around. Molly's heart was as big as the universe, and her love for her family, friends, and Kirby was just as big.

Molly was a kind soul, soft spoken yet strong and incredibly selfless. Although she left us too soon, the fond memories and time spent with her will never be forgotten. She is watching over all of us and smiling. Molly would want us all to live our best lives and be kind to one another, especially those who may be struggling with depression.
