Lois Hansen

Lois H. Hansen
Age 95, of Saint Paul, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2021.

Preceded in death by parents, Hakkin and Hilda Hansen; and brothers, Harold and Douglas Hansen. Survived by nephew, Steve (Michele) Hansen. Lois was born in Duluth, MN and graduated from Denfeld High School in 1943. She worked as a secretary at the University of Minnesota Duluth and then transferred to the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She worked as a legal secretary at 3M for many years until her retirement. Even after leaving the U of M she remained an avid Minnesota Gopher fan for life. She enjoyed playing golf. Music was an important part of her life. She was very active in the choir at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church for 25 years, both as a choir member and a soloist. A service in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, August 25 at 11AM at GLORIA DEI LUTHERAN CHURCH, 700 Snelling Ave. S. Saint Paul, with visitation 30 minutes prior, followed by interment at Bethany Cemetery, Duluth. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Organ Fund or Cerenity Marian Senior Center.
