George Anthony Thompson Jr.

George “Juicy Taco” Anthony Thompson JR, 40, of Welch MN, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 15 2022 in Saint Paul MN. George was born in Park Rapids MN on July 15th 1981 to George A Thompson Sr and Lorina (Stone) Campbell. George became a father at 18 and continued to be a devoted loving dad until death. George was a hilarious comedian, a superb chef; famous for his “prison burritos”, talented artist, hopeless romantic, bookworm and top notch karaoke singer. Most of all George was the most loving and caring man showing affection every chance toward his family and friends. 

George is loved and survived by his mother, Lorina Campbell; Children, Alyssa Thompson, Lillian Thompson, George A Thompson III, Gabriel Jones, Justice Jones, Harmony Moore, Wyatt, and his newborn Micheal Joseph Thompson; Fiance Alaura Smith; Siblings James Gellings Jr.,  Desiree Thompson, Jasmine (Matt) Baker, Bernadine Stone II, Lisa Thompson, Kyle Stangel, Danielle Campbell, Leslie (Rodney) Campbell, Rochelle (Ty) Kramlich, Trinity (Tom) Campbell, Otherday Campbell, Violet Thompson, James Thompson, Priscilla Thompson; Grandchildren Tawny Johnson and Brian Gonzales. Numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, and friends. 

George is preceded in death by both of his fathers George Anthony Thompson Sr, and Joseph Benjamin Campbell Sr.; Brothers Joseph B Campbell Jr, Cody Thompson; Nephew Marquise Johnson; grandparents Violet Thompson, James Thompson, Bernadine Stone, Joseph Campbell, Trinidad Gardea; numerous aunts and uncles and family will also be greeting him on the otherside.

Traditional Services will begin at 6pm on Monday June 20th, at the Church of Messiah in Prairie Island MN. All day visitation Tuesday with services beginning at 6pm. Final viewing and services will begin at 12 pm on Wednesday with cremation to follow. 

A second service will be held at a later time with remains to be buried next to his father George Thompson Sr. in Ponsford MN
