Passed away peacefully on September 24, 2022, while her sister held her hand. She is survived by her siblings, Patti, Frank, Duane (Renee), Michelle; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Edith; brother, John. Joanie was kind, caring and loving. She was generous with her time and with her love. She was famous for sending greeting cards for any occasion. Memorial service will be 3pm Saturday, October 1 at Woodcrest Baptist Church, 6875 University Ave NE, Fridley. Visitation begins at 2:30 and a luncheon will follow the service.
