Barbara Anne (Steele) Hudson

Barbara Ann Steele Hudson—born April 8,1931; died July 30, 2023. Preceded in death by Philip Hudson, her husband for 56 years, her parents John and Grace Steele, and her sister Marilyn Postier. She will be missed by her son Jeffrey (Gail), her daughter Susan Lamont (DT); her grandchildren Sabrina Kim (Michael) two great-grandchildren Marina and Warren, Caleb, and Adam (Méggan), 19 foster great-grandchildren.

Barb built her career in the graphic arts field. On retirement, she was an active volunteer in Marine on St Croix, giving her time and energy to the planning committee, library, church council, and Warner Nature Center. She loved living on the “lower road” because she got to have a front row seat to the St. Croix River. She enjoyed fishing, boating, walking in the woods - anything that made for a good story. But most of all, she loved sharing time with people. 

Celebration of Life will be Tuesday August 15 at Christ Lutheran Church, 150 5th St, Marine on St Croix, MN 55047.  Visitation from 10am to 11am. Service at 11am followed with a luncheon. 

Internment will be at a later time.
