Virgil Olson

February 18, 1981 — March 4, 2024

Virgil Gordon Olson was born on February 18, 1981 in Minneapolis, MN. He left those who loved him on March 4th, 2024

Growing up, Virgil was a fun and rebellious youth, of which many stories have been told and shared about his wild exploits. Virgil was a jack of all trades, and a born handy man. His passion for fixing things was evident in his work and home life. Whether it was cutting out cupboards to fit a fridge or helping with car repairs, he approached all of it with excitement. He spent a lot of time in the outdoors specifically helping with his dad's horses, camping, and fishing with his kids

His zest for life was only rivaled by his sense of humor and inappropriate jokes.

Virgil is survived by his parents Carl Olson (Malia) and Melinda Stiller, his fiancee Meisha Johnson, his former wife Sara Olson (Belinda) and their three children Levana, Etienne, and Ezra, whom he loved fiercely. Virgil is also survived by his siblings Loucinda Bjorklund (Sven), Amanda McDonald (Josh), Rory Stiller, and by his grandmother, Ruth Stiller. He is beloved by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends and will continue to be so. He was preceded in death by grandparents Gale and Evelyn Olson and Claude Stiller.

A special thank you to the staff of North Memorial Hospital and their ICU care staff for their thoughtful and loving care, which provided all of our family the greatest of comfort and peace.

A celebration of life for Virgil will be held at 12:00 noon on Tues. April 16, 2024 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 County Rd 19, Excelsior, MN.
