Vanessa Bowron

Vanessa Angelo Bowron, 56, of Cromwell, MN, passed away August 24th, 2025. She lived with her loving husband, dog and many chickens. Vanessa was a lover of animals, avid fan of all things entertainment and filled with laughter.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Vanessa was the light of the family as the first grandchild.

After being introduced to Greg at Sam's Pizza in Subic City, Philippines, the two fell in love and Vanessa came to the United States in December 1988. They married soon after, and were happily together for 36 and a half years.

They were very involved in their church as they raised their two children in Hastings, MN. When they had an empty nest, they left Hastings behind and moved to a small town, Cromwell, MN, where she lived out her life on their land, gardening, cooking and taking care of her chickens.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Bowron, children Catherine Bowron, and Joshua Bowron (Miranda); sister Michelle, brothers Frederick, Christian, and Justine; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Vanessa is preceded in death by her grandparents Marcelino and Aurora Angelo, mother Teresita Angelo, and brother Roderick Adams.

A celebration of life will be held in the coming months. In lieu of flowers, feel free to send cards and kind words to the family.
