Van Everett Jensen Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Van Everett Jensen, Jr., on June 14, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Jean "Munkholm" Jensen, and his parents, Van and Betty Jensen. He is survived by his children, Theresa, Angela (Eric) Jones, and Van III (Jenny); his grandchildren, Jeta, Taylor, Reva, Zachary, Alexa, Vana, and Van IV; his brother, Bruce (MaryJo); and his sister, Colleen (Kurt) Katterheinrich.

Van graduated from Mounds View High School in 1964 and went on to attend Dunwoody College of Technology. He served five years in the Army Reserves and enjoyed a dedicated career at 3M, where he retired as a drafting engineer after more than 30 years. Van and his late wife, Jean, were active members of the Minnesota Bonsai Society and also enjoyed trips to the casino. He was an avid swimmer and had a passion for woodworking. Van-our father, brother, and beloved Papa-will be missed deeply.
