Theresa Thomas

Theresa Marie Thomas passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was the most selfless, strong, and caring individual. Her favorite things included traveling and spending time with family. She will be missed dearly and has had a profound impact on everyone's lives she touched.

Theresa was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly; father, Charles; sister, Cheryl; and niece, Michelle. She is survived by her children, Michelle Rogers (Dale), Timothy Purtle (Diane), Cindy Purtle, Darcy Kaufmann (Noah), and Holly Seeley (Andy); sisters, Hazel Barker (Cliff), and Leila Miller; grandchildren, Heather, Amanda, Emily, Ellen, Anna, Talyia, Theresa, Tori, Jacob, Madeline, Aidan, and Cameron; and great grandchildren, Abigail, Bentley, Josie, Parker, Owen, Nora, Kylee, Ellie, Brayden, Olivia, Daniel, Hailey, Elena, Alayah, and Dashel.

The family extends special thanks to the nursing staff at Unity for their loving care. A service to honor Theresa's memory will be held at 721 Harding Street NE on Sunday, January 26th at 3pm. In her honor please wear one of her favorite colors red or yellow.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and support we've received during this difficult time. While we understand that now everyone will be able to attend, we sincerely appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and kind gestures.
