Theodore "Ted" Koch

Ted was born April 3, 1939 to Theodore and Florence Koch of St. Paul, MN. He passed away at the Alton Memory Care on July 5, 2025. Ted was a gentle soul who lived expressing optimism and gratitude. He loved St. Paul and was a graduate of St Paul Academy where he was active in bugle and drum corps and Co-Captain of the track team. He attended Carleton College, but earned degrees Washburn University and University of Kansas. Ted was a professional musician and excelled at playing many instruments but loved piano. He enjoyed playing at nursing homes and other venues.

Ted is survived by life-long family friends the Morgans (Jonathan and Martha) as well as cousins in Texas, Illinois and Maryland. Memorials preferred to St Paul Academy and Summit School.
