Beloved Son, Brother

Steven died peacefully in his sleep at home 5 days before his 68th birthday on April 18, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lester and Maxine Leonardson.  He is survived by his sister, Kathy (John) Redin of Ramsey New Jersey; niece Jessica Redin-Owen (Michael), nephew Brian Redin (Stephanie) and three grand-nephew and nieces.  Steven loved to golf with his dad.  He also loved to bowl.  He was part of a bowling team for the Minnesota State Special Olympics in 1989 and won a bronze medal.  He was always proud of being an Olympic champion and regularly wore his medal.

A special thank you to the staffs and residents of MSOCS Fawn Lake and CLO Peaceful Valley group homes for all of their loving care.  You made Steven feel wanted and admired.  You made his family feel confident in his care.
