Sherri Schilling

Sherri Anne Schilling, age 63, of South St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 7, 1962, Sherri had a natural gift for making people feel seen and valued. Whether she was greeting members at Southview Country Club - where she worked for many years - or giving a haircut to a friend or family member, she gave everyone her full attention. Her humor was quick and a little mischievous, her laughter contagious, and her conversations full of curiosity and care. Beneath the jokes was someone deeply thoughtful - the first to call, the first to check in, and the one who could make you laugh even on your hardest days.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Nancy Schilling, and her cherished daughter, Bridgette Schilling. Sherri is survived by her father Richard Schilling; her sons Ben and Erik Hunder, their father Paul Hunder; her siblings Alan (Barb) Schilling, Chris Schilling, Linda (Jim) Biggs, and Lori Schilling; her partner Mark Bilderback; and many loving nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Sherri.

Sherri is now reunited with her daughter, Bridgette, whose life was heartbreakingly brief but never forgotten. That loss taught Sherri to never take a moment with her children for granted. Now her sons carry forward that love - a reminder to never take a moment with your mother for granted.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 21, at Simple Traditions by Bradshaw (488 Humboldt Ave, St. Paul).

A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:30 PM at Southview Country Club (239 Mendota Rd E, West St. Paul).
