Sandra Lee Huberty

Sandra Lee Huberty passed peacefully in Saint Paul, MN at the age of 86 on Monday, January 26, 2026.

She is preceded in death by Irvin Schaber (Father) Helen Schaber (Janaszak) Mother, and Douglas Schaber (Brother). She is survived by her Daughter Kristine "Sunderta" Huberty and Son Daniel Huberty, Brothers Phil Schaber, Steve Schaber, Sister-in-Law Kathy Schaber, Sister-In-Law Kitty Huberty, Sister-In-Law Paula Severson (Marvin), Brother-In-Law Jake Huberty (Veda) and many nieces and nephews. Sandy graduated from Wilson High School, Class of 1957.

She worked as a secretary prior to dedicating her life to the full-time care of her husband, Saint Paul Police Officer David Huberty who she remained married to for 62 years until his passing in 2022, and her two children. She was a lifelong active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking, and watching sports, especially the Lynx and the Twins.

Memorial to be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 700 S. Snelling Ave, Saint Paul 55116 Friday February 6, 2026, Visitation at 10:00am. Church Service follows at 11:00am followed by luncheon. The family thanks the staff of Marvella Assisted Living and Memory Care for their committed care and Our Lady of Peace Hospice for their care and support.
