Salvador “Sal” Lopez
Age 91, of St Paul, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Luis and Angela; brothers, Margo and Roman; sisters, Mary, Jane and Martha. Survived by loving wife of 70+ years, Frances (nee Yanez); daughter, Geraldine; sisters, Bruna, Petra Teresa (Dan) Hernandez, Rita (Alex) Ramirez; brother, Frank Lopez; and other loving family and friends. Sal was an electrical engineer with American Hoist and the founder of Crane Circuit Design. He designed circuits and updated electrical cranes nationally and internationally. Sal was a proud Air Force veteran and a lifetime member and former Finance Officer of AmVets Post 5. He was an active charter member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. His devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe was always with him. Heartfelt thanks to Bright Star Home Healthcare. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Private Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 22 at 9:00 AM with a livestream provided by Simple Traditions by Bradshaw. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
