She attended Indiana State University Terre Haute Indiana where she took secretarial courses to begin a career as an executive secretary

Mama will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, kindness, and compassion for others.

Her leadership and advocacy touched many lives and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
