Fargo

Rosalie Ann (Stinton) Schumacher, age 64, of Fargo, North Dakota, passed away on February 12, 2026, at Fairview Bethesda in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Rosalie was born in Moorhead, Minnesota on October 17, 1961. She grew up in Fargo, attending Roosevelt Elementary, Ben Franklin Junior High, and North High School. Rosalie spent 37 dedicated years working at Perkins in Fargo, where she was known for her kindness, humor, and warmth that she shared with both coworkers and customers.

Her life was forever brightened by her only child, Chris, who was the center of her world. Rosalie married her beloved husband, Chuck, on June 9, 2000, after sharing 10 adventurous years together. After marrying, they purchased their first home, where they created a warm and loving life together. Their love and passion for each other was pure and sincere. Chuck's dedication and adoration was apparent in every way. Their family grew even more when they brought home their first puppy, bringing laughter and love into their home. A lifelong animal lover, she especially adored puppies and the happiness they brought her.

Her life was filled with all the things she loved most. Including her family and granddaughters, animals, gardening, fashion, and decorating. She loved music and concerts, especially Fleetwood Mac, which brought her so much joy. She had a special bond with her brother Roger, who shared a love of music and outdoor adventures.

She cherished the memories she made while traveling. Some of favorite trips took her to Hawaii, Europe, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica. Up until the end, she maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation of beauty, and love of family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, Charles Schumacher; son Christopher (Katie) Stinton, grandchildren Keagan (9), Mila (7), and Taylor (20); and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Roger Stinton, mother Sandra Kjorvestad Stinton, grandmother Thea Kjorvestad, grandfather Albert Kjorvestad, and uncle Beryle Kjorvestad.

A memorial service and celebration of life service is being planned for late spring.
