We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert (Bob) E. Ringdahl from a brief illness on May 13, 2025 at the age of 76.
Bob was born on November 8, 1948 in Duluth, Minnesota to William and Betty (Ellis) Ringdahl. He was one of two sons, he is survived by brother, Lee.
Bob attended school in Duluth, MN and post graduate studies at University of Central Missouri and UMD where he earned a Master's Degree. After college, Bob served in the White House between October 11, 1968 through February 18, 1972. His secular work then focused on safety, where he worked as Director of Safety for several large companies and was President of his own consulting company until retirement.
He married and is survived by wife, Linda, on April 15,1995. They had just celebrated 30 years of marriage. Bob and Linda enjoyed years of traveling and creating memories with family and friends, especially on the North Shores of Minnesota and Wisconsin, Marco Island and Naples, Florida and his happy place in Minnesota, the cabin on Jenkins Lake.
Bob was a kind, enduring man. He stuck by Linda's side through many years of cancer treatment, even with his own health challenges. He was devoted to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, documenting every milestone. He was always there to show his love and support.
He is survived by wife, Linda; her children, Kelly (Bill), Kimberley (Craig) Brian and Sharlene; daughters, Shivon (Jason) and Gretchen (Thomas); grandchildren, Thomas (Nancy), Samuel (Makayla), Erika (Jesse), Joseph (Shelby), Joshua (Rachael), Hallie (Ahmad), Serena, Brayden and Leela; great grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, Liam, Eli, Leif, Levi, Isla, Ryker, Thea, Oakley.
