Robert Koepke

Robert Leonard Koepke, 82, Lakeville formerly of McGregor and St. Paul, MN, passed away on August 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Though his passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those who knew him, his spirit will continue to be celebrated through the countless stories, traditions, and values he instilled in his family.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Robert's life was marked by his unwavering love for his family and his passion for the simple joys: woodworking, tending to his garden, gathering around the campfire, and sharing tales that would leave his loved ones in stitches. His playful pranks will be remembered with smiles, but more importantly, his kindness, generosity, and guidance will forever be etched in the hearts of those he touched.

Robert is survived by his children, Julie Pottratz, Thomas Miller, Robert Koepke Jr., Ronald Koepke, and Shawn Thury(Earl Ashmore); a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who were the center of his world. He was preceded in death by his parents Irving and Ester Koepke, beloved wife Roberta, siblings Arvid, Leonard (Ben), Junior, Barbara, Richard (Dickie), and cherished grandchildren Thomas (TJ) Miller, Marcus, and Richard Koepke.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate teams at The Beehive memory care and Minnesota hospice in Lakeville for their tender care and support.

Visitation will be held at Bradshaw Funeral Home (671 Snelling Ave S, St Paul, MN 55116) on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 3 pm to 5 pm

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Simple Traditions by Bradshaw (651-767-9333), a fitting tribute to a life that embodied simplicity, love, and tradition. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in the memories we shared and the lessons he taught us about love, family, and living life to the fullest.
