Peter Willems

Willems, Peter G., age 94 passed away on September 4. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Lena Willems; brothers Frank, Christopher and John; sisters, Madge Corrigan, and Marie Willems.
Peter attended St. Matthew's School, graduated from Humboldt High School (Class of 1947) and attended the University of Minnesota.
Peter served in the Army as a corporal during the Korean War. He was employed by Northwest Airlines for 37 years as a mechanic, retiring in 1987. After retirement he enjoyed travel and varied interests.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, September 27 at 11 A.M. at St Matthew's Catholic Church, 510 Hall Ave, St Paul, MN. A visitation will begin one hour prior. A burial will take place at 2:30 P.M. at Resurrection Cemetery, 2101 Lexington Ave S, Mendota Heights, MN.
