Patricia Elizabeth Schmitz

Patricia, 77, of Vandais Heights, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 22, 2026.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a lover of music, traveling, and crafting. She collected stories from all her adventures, and turned them into scrapbooks that she proudly showed off.

Preceded in death by: Parents Kenneth and Hilda (Helen) Dwyer, and Sister Lorraine Wheeler.

Survived by: Husband Marvin Schmitz, Brother Mike Dwyer, Children Paul (Vicki), Tina (Derek), Debie (Matt), and Tim Schmitz, and Grandchildren Justin, Carissa, Brianna, Emma, Caitlyn, Sara, and James. Niece Angie Dwyer.

A family ceremony was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 27th, and a celebration of life is being planned for the spring.
