Mia Marie Schendel

Mia Marie Schendel, 44 years old, of West Saint Paul, passed away peacefully on November 1 st, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Mia was an avid music lover. Heard from her room growing up were varying sounds from Eric Clapton, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Tupac and Boyz II Men. She loved to dance and be goofy. Always loved to make anyone smile and had a particularly good sense of humor. Her kids were her life, and she never stopped working to make them proud. She lived to help people. She judged extraordinarily little and loved with her whole heart any time she got the chance to do so. She fought almost as hard as she loved.

Preceded in death by her Grandparents; Ann Sue Athen; Ernest Dietrich Athen; Lawrence Schendel; Vera Virginia Schendel and her Father, Timothy Neal Schendel.

Survived by her Mother Traci Lee Schendel, Stepmother Beth Schendel, Sister Virginia (Nathan) Baumgardner, Brothers Paul Schendel, Charlie Schendel, and Harley Schendel, her daughters Arianna Grigsby and Damya Jackson, her Nephews Alex Schendel, Logan Schendel, Conor Baumgardner and Theodore Baumgardner, many many friends and coworkers and surrogate kids.
