Marjorie J. Nelson

Age 94. Born to Lela and Glen Kirsebom on 6/29/27 and passed peacefully on 3/20/22. Preceded in death by husband, Howard, brothers Frank and Glen Allen Kirsebom, and sister Barbara Watson. Survived by children, Darlene (David Atkinson), Vern (Joanne), Kirk (Sue), and Lyle (Melissa), 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 sisters-in-Law plus many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who lived in the same house in Burnsville for over 70 years.  During her life-time she enjoyed gardening, sewing,and reading. She was a member of the Martha Church Circle, a Sunday School Teacher, and a 4H Leader. She was well-known for the ice cream she made for all family gatherings.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022, 10:00 AM at Hillcrest United Methodist Church at 9100 Russell Av S in Bloomington. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow at 12:00 noon.
