He is preceded in death by his wife, Anita; father, Ernesto Sierra; mother, Rosalinda Hernandez.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Mario (Maia), Melissa (Matthew) Christensen, and Michael (Kristin); grandchildren, Monique, Annica (Ethan), Mario Jr., Sergio, Gabriella, Ebin, and Luca; great-grandchildren, Maricella, Mason, and Myles; siblings, Tina, Nellie, Esther (Ruben), Reyna, Cecelia, Veronica (Hector), Jennie, Theodore, Thomas (Larue), Luis (Alice), Rene, Augustine, Leonard (Barb), Frances (Frank), John, Mary H (Tomas), Richard (Linda), Joseph (Christine); companion, Sandra; and numerous nieces, nephews, beloved family, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 16th, at 11AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 401 Concord St, Saint Paul, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights.
