Born on February 15, 1931, Margarita was a woman of faith, immense strength, and compassion. She embraced the challenges of raising a large family with grace and determination, dedicating herself to the well-being of her 13 children. Her love knew no bounds, extending to 45 grandchildren, 99 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.  Margarita was a keeper of Mexican cultural traditions, carrying them forward with pride and instilling them in the hearts of her family.  Margarita's home was a sanctuary of warmth and laughter, where she made every celebration special. Her sense of humor brought joy to those around her, and her humility endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to share in her company.

In her professional life, Margarita served as a social worker and pastoral minister, by extending a helping hand to those facing challenges. Her work brought solace to many, and her commitment to uplifting others spiritually and emotionally defined her character. As a Guadalupana member, Margarita dedicated herself to the service of Our Lady of Guadalupe and community.
