Loyd died peacefully in Hudson, WI surrounded by his family on February 15, 2020. Loyd was born on April 27th, 1940 in Lake City, MN. He is survived by his five children, Erik (Desiree) Meyer, Kire (Rylan) Quist, Kelle (Michael) Femling, Chelle Meyer and Jodi Meyer; grandchildren, Elle Quist and Justyn, Kailynn, Carson and Treyton Lind.
