Beloved mother and grandmother
Linda Marie Davis Zelada passed away peacefully with her children at her side on October 8, 2022, as a result of various medical complications.
From her earliest years she radiated generosity and joy to all she knew.
She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy, and earned a teaching degree from St. Catherine University while a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet. She went on to a 35-year career as a teacher. She was also a volunteer for Donate Life Minnesota and an advocate for organ donation, after receiving a liver transplant in 2004.
She was an outstanding wife, mother and sister. Her love and fidelity to her family and friends cannot be measured, and will be a comfort to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abelino Zelada Diaz and is survived by daughter, Carla Zelada de Marshall (Matthew Marshall); son, Robert (Lindsay Schwab); grandchildren, Gabriel, Violet, Mila and Eva; and sister, Mary Ann Davis.
There will be a memorial service in the near future, details still to be determined.
