Linda Kay Ringdahl
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda K. Ringdahl on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 after a long battle with cancer. She was 77 years old.
Linda was born on August 1, 1948 to parents Harold and June Kelly in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the oldest sibling to two brothers, William (Bill) and Steven Kelly. She soon started her own family, and she became a young mother to daughters Kelly and Kimberley, and to son, Brian. With grace and maturity beyond her years, she faced each task she'd met head on, working her way up the ladder of several secular roles, until she finished her working years in Human Resources for Wilder Foundation. Her greatest achievement, however, was the time and the care that she poured into her family.
On April 15th, 1995, Linda married Robert (Bob) Ringdahl and they enjoyed 30 years together until his passing in May of this year. Linda and Bob spent their marriage exploring the North Shore of Minnesota, as well as many trips to warmer weather with their family. She especially loved her quality time up at the cabin on Jenkins Lake. Only a few years into their marriage, Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer. With Bob by her side, she faced all the uncertainty of her prognosis with the same determination and grace, and grit, she'd met all that life had thrown her way. After beating many odds along her roller coaster journey, she'd eventually succumb to her illness after 23 years.
Shortly after welcoming her children, Linda began studying the Bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. This faith instilled in her the hope of an earthly resurrection, where it is promised one day soon..." death will be no more."(Revelation 21:3,4)
Very special recognition goes to her Oncologist, Dr. David King at Minnesota Oncology and his team , whom she trusted and was well cared for for many years. Also, thank you to Hospice of the Midwest for their care.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill, grandson Marley, and husband Robert. Linda is survived by children Kelly Pierce,(Bill) Kim (Craig) Loiland, Brian Mickelsen and Sharlene Mickelsen, brother Steven (Kim) Kelly, grandchildren Thomas (Nancy), Samuel (Makayla), Erika (Jesse), Joseph (Shelby), Joshua (Rachael), Hallie (Ahmad), great grandchildren Noah, Hannah, Liam, Eli, Leif, Levi, Isla, Ryker, Thea and Oakley, as well as a niece, nephews and extended family.
