K. Richard "Rich" Crepeau, was born September 10th, 1949 to Gertrude and Wilfred Crepeau in Chicago, Illinois. He gently left his body in the early morning of December 31st. He spent his final days in the surround of loved ones, including his devoted wife Nancy and his two sons, Dave and Tim. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Margaret and his grandson Jack, his siblings Sr. Carol Crepeau CSJ, Marilee (George) Hejna & Tom (Laurie) Crepeau. Also notable are his siblings-in-law Terry (Bev) Riley, Peggy Riley, Jackie (Tedd) Johnson, Mike (Jill) Riley, nieces, nephews, a wealth of friends & well-wishers.
Rich described himself as a simple man, and his family tended to agree. His easy kindness was felt by all in his presence. He eschewed entering pet shops, unable to bear the hopeful faces pleading to make his home theirs, and embraced the thrill of the open road, which he explored year in and year out in his career in sales and marketing. His passions were music, which he pursued by lending his voice to the church choir, and organization, which he pursued by always ensuring everything around the house was either in its right place, or in the garbage. Later in his life, he developed a strong affinity for recycling. He will be dearly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Minneapolis, MN at 11am on Tuesday, January 13th. It will be preceded by a visitation at 10 am and followed by lunch.
