Kiesha Jones

Ms. Kiesha Kareen Huggins Jones passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2025, in Plymouth, Minnesota, at the age of 53. The family is shocked and saddened by her sudden passing.

Keisha was born on January 28, 1972. She is preceded in death by her parents Ivoryiett Jones and Harold Huggins, Sr., and her oldest brother Benjamin K. Jones.

Kiesha is survived by her three children Domonique, Lamarr, and Latrice, and grandchildren, Amaria, Lanique, King, Marley, Makai, Kamrynn, Jahnya, Sanai, and Lynnx. Her siblings and their families include: Ricko (Rena), Kitty, Ivory Dean, Luegene, Luesena, Cherrie (Kerwin), Beradino, Sylvia, Jennifer (Winston), Harold and Robert (Tandria), and her sister friends Lisa and Precious.

Additionally, Kiesha is survived by siblings on her father's side, the Huggins family: Dione Danielle, Tuwanda, Greg, Denyell, and Kareem-all of whom will deeply feel her loss. She cherished memories with her nieces and nephews: Ricko, Jr., Jermaine, Terry, Wardell, Ivoryiett, Luegene, Jr., Damarius, Jeremiah, Rashon, Victoria, Ivory Jr, Amy, Ryan, Triston, Stephen, Donte, Deliria, Lindsey, Marcus, Diva, Lyric, Xavier, Jordyn, Ciara, Angelo, Micaiah, and Great-nieces and-nephews: Quentin, Kerwin, Cerice, Luna.

Kiesha was born in Kankakee, Illinois. She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Bible Witness Camp, St. Anne, IL. She worked in the health care industry and loved helping people. She loved a good game of spades or dominoes with family and friends. Her grandchildren became her greatest joy. She cherished time with loved ones, always ensuring they felt appreciated. Keisha valued self-care, enjoying pampering herself and maintaining her appearance to feel confident. Wearing elegant attire and appreciating fine dining contributed to her sense of happiness and confidence, and she consistently conducted herself with grace and style. She will be remembered for her warmth, sense of humour, and appreciation for life.

Visitation for Kiesha to be held at 11AM-1PM, on Saturday, August 9, at Simple Traditions by Bradshaw (671 Snelling Ave. S.). Funeral Service at 1PM. Repast to follow.

Parking is available in the Simple Traditions parking lot, on-street parking, and the parking lot across the street at The Waters of Highland Park.
