Kelly Marie Lund

Kelly Lund (Nadeau), 61, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, slipped quietly from our world on February 5, 2026.

Kelly took immense joy in her children and grand children, they were her greatest source of pride and happiness.

She will be missed and will remain in our hearts.

In her short life she had many different types of work, she was an accomplished baker, working in restaurants and bakeries throughout the Twin Cities over the years. She loved cooking and sharing her recipes. She also spent time working in health care as an aide and particularly enjoyed working with the elderly.

Kelly took meticulous care of her plants and was passionate about her dogs over the years who were loving companions. She was fiercely independent and life was not always easy for her but she remained ever optimistic and she can now rest peacefully.

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents R. Gunhild & C. Paul Lund.

She is survived by her son Isaac (Megan) Nadeau (Coon Rapids, MN) and grandchildren Chase and Mya, daughter Molly Nadeau (Hawaii), sister Kim Lund (New Zealand), and nephews Carey Lund Biron (Arlington VA) & Odin Lund Biron (Berlin, Germany)

A heartfelt thank you to Keystone Community Services for their loving support of Kelly over the last many months. In particular we would like to thank Phil Schmid, Aging Services Specialist who gave Kelly such warmth and compassion, helping guide her through a difficult time in her life. We as a family watched this support and felt that our mother, sister, grandmother couldn't have been in better hands to help her make this transition from independent living through to her last days. The grace and kindness shown to Kelly will always be remembered.

We also would like to acknowledge the staff of United Hospital for their ongoing care and gentleness in supporting Kelly and our family during this difficult time.
