Keith Edward Blatzheim

Blatzheim, Keith Edward Age 81, of Chanhassen, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Lilydale Senior Living in Lilydale, Minnesota. Keith was born on July 6, 1941 in Watertown, Minnesota, the son of Kenneth and Marjorie (Petersen) Blatzheim. He was baptized in the Minnetrista Baptist Church and his family members were devoted to their congregation. Keith grew up in Excelsior, Minnesota and graduated from Minnetonka High School in 1959. He enjoyed playing several sports, but especially football and golf. He followed horse racing with members of his family and friends. Keith loved the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team, the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins. He will be remembered for his strength, determination and dedication. Keith was raised by his foster family, Edgar and Ida Luedtke, and their children, Cornelle "Connie" (Luedtke) Krotzer and Dale Luedtke. He felt a sense of belonging and gratitude for them for his entire life. Keith is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Delores "Lori" (Larson) Blatzheim, son, Brian Blatzheim, and his parents. Keith is survived by his loving sister, Sandra Shelton, of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Rebecca and son-in-law, Gary Simjian of Glendora, California; grandsons, Colin and Christopher Simjian; sister-in-law, Debra Larson of Roseville, Minnesota; brother-in- law, Daniel Larson of Billings, Montana; other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at Saturday August 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM starting with an interment at  Minnetrista Baptist Cemetery, Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota, followed by the service at Minnetrista Baptist Church, 8325 Kennedy Memorial Drive, Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota.
