1949 - 2026
June Everson, 76, of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on March 17, 2026, at Regions Hospital after several weeks of care. Honoring her wishes, there will be no formal services, and she will be cremated. Her ashes will be joined with those of Clarence Brown, the love of her life, and together they'll be laid to rest in the family plot in Ogema, Wisconsin, this summer during a family gathering to place their urns side by side.
Born June H. Johnson on March 28, 1949, in Medford, Wisconsin, to Arnold Johnson of Ogema and Viola Johnson of the Town of Hill, she lived in Medford until 1951 when the family moved to the west side of Ogema on Bjorklund Road. Later, she lived with her mother in Ogema, where Viola ran a beauty shop. June attended school in Ogema and later in Milwaukee after another family move. She lived with epilepsy throughout her life, managing it with medication.
She married Robert Everson of Westboro, and they had two daughters, Victoria and Michelle, before eventually divorcing. In time, she met Clarence in St. Paul, and they shared many happy years together. June loved music, her cats, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and enjoying life in the big city.
She is survived by her brother, John (Lilly) Johnson of Rib Lake, WI; her sister, Janice (Johnson) La Favor of Harrisburg, PA; and her daughters, Victoria (Charles) Smith of the Minneapolis area and Michelle (David) Strange of the Mauston, WI area. She was preceded in death by Clarence, her parents, three sisters, and one brother.
