Age 86 of St. Paul

Passed away peacefully on October 16, 2022. He is survived by his children, Keith (Dawn Skinner), Kenny (Cathy), Kelly Link; and their mother, Shirley Buxton; grandchildren, Micheal Dahn, Jacqueline, Steven and Olivia Link, Nicholas (Bridget) Skinner, Riley; great-grandson, Charles Skinner; brother, Mark (Janet); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jalmar and Lois; and sister and brother-in-law, Jenay and Jack Poidinger. A graduate of Central High School class of ‘54, Joel was an avid boater and skier, and enjoyed many years with friends at the Big Marine Veterans Camp. He loved cool cars and attending Back to the 50s. Joel was an active, engaged grandpa and will be dearly missed. Memorial service will be 11am Saturday, October 29 at Simple Traditions, 671 Snelling Ave S, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials preferred to Veterans Campground on Big Marine Lake.
