Celebrating the Life of Jimmy Foster

Sunrise: November 6, 1971 - Sunset: June 16, 2026

With deep and fond memories, we honor the Life of Jimmy Foster, who passed away peacefully on June 16 at the age of 54. Jimmy had a spirit that brightened every room he entered and brought warmth and joy into the lives of everyone blessed enough to know him.

Born and raised in the cool hills of Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica, Jimmy was a driven and accomplished man. He took immense pride in his education, graduating from Knox Community College before embarking on an early career in health services. As a dedicated Phlebotomist, Jimmy served his community at the Mandeville Regional Hospital as well as in the private sector, bringing warmth and comfort to every patient he cared for.

In the early 2000s, Jimmy followed a new passion into the Tourism and Hospitality Management industry. This career shift led him to the vibrant city of Montego Bay, Jamaica, where he spent years welcoming visitors from around the world at various premier resorts-most notably the Grand Palladium Hotel. His natural charisma and hospitality made him a natural fit for the industry and left a lasting impression on colleagues and guests alike. In 2016, Jimmy migrated to the United States, first visiting his beloved sister Nadeth and niece Melissa in Atlanta before making his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he spent his later years creating new memories while staying closely connected to his roots and loved ones.

Jimmy is survived by his loving father Everil Foster, his five cherished children Brandon, Kahele, Jacoby, and daughters Aaliyah and Ulani; his brother Owen; his sisters Ann and Nadeth; his nieces Melissa, Mackayla, and Cailee, his nephew Keniel; as well as a wide circle of extended family and lifelong friends across Jamaica and the United States.

To know Jimmy was to know kindness, resilience, and genuine warmth. His signature, affectionate laugh was contagious and will echo forever in the memories of his loved ones & friends, reminding them to find joy in life's everyday moments.

Jimmy will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Minnesota. Though he is no longer with us, his warmth, his cherished laugh, and his vibrant spirit will remain forever in our hearts.
