Jesus Rueda, Jr.

JJ Rueda Jr., age 45, of Saint Paul, MN, passed away on June 5th 2024, in his hometown. He was born on June 23rd 1978, on the Westside of Saint Paul.

JJ, as known to many, was a devoted family man who cherished his partner, Janeen Paquette, since 1995, as well as his 6 children; Aricela, Jesus, Alia, Ayana, Alonzo, and Ja"Carii. He took immense pride in his family. Their happiness meant the world to him.

Aside from his dedication to his loved ones, JJ had a passion for cooking, listening to corridos, and above all else, his children. His love for his family was evident in everything he did.

He is survived by his children; partner, Janeen Paquette; and sister, Qiana Rueda. JJ was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Rueda Machado; and his grandmother, Angelina Soto.

JJ attended Humboldt High School. He will be remembered for his unwavering love of family and the joy he found in being with them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 at Simple Traditions by Bradshaw, 488 Humboldt Avenue, Saint Paul, MN at 3:00 PM. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. A celebration luncheon, at a neighborhood location, will begin at 4:30 PM. The location will be announced at the service.
