Jean Marie Walstad

Jean Marie (Hoelscher) Walstad, February 2, 1937 - February 9, 2026

Survived by sons Christopher, Steven, Thomas, John, and brother Dennis Hoelscher. Preceded in death by son Andrew, and parents George and Marie (Hager) Hoelscher.

Jean was a devoted mother to her five sons, always ensuring their welfare, often sacrificing her own. She was someone who helped everyone, anytime, with anything. Jean was true to her Catholic faith, attending Mass daily, and living the creed of faith, hope and love. Jean touched so many people's lives, she will be truly missed.

Jean will be honored in a Mass at St. Columba Catholic Church, St. Paul, April 30, 11:00 am. Following will be a luncheon at Hamline Methodist Church, St. Paul. Memorials to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, St. Columba Church, Hamline Midway Elders in St. Paul, or donor's choice.
