Jay Ripley

Jay Richard Ripley, age 59, of Shakopee, formerly of Red Wing, MN, passed away on May 10, 2024.

Jay was a dedicated mechanical engineer for the US Navy, serving honorably on the USS Eisenhower for nearly two decades. Following his naval service, he continued his career with the US Patent Agency. Jay shared a passion for motorcycles, just like his father and brothers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita L. Hart, and his father, Douglas G. Ripley. Jay is survived by his loving siblings: brothers, Adam Ripley and Jacob Ripley, and sister, Alex Elizabeth.

A memorial gathering and interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.

Jay will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
