James Claffey

Jim Claffey, 76, of (Mahtomedi, MN), formerly of (Hull, Massachusetts), passed away in his home on 5/22/2025.

During his younger years, Jim attended college at Tennessee Wesleyan University, in Athens Tennessee where he obtained his Master's degree in commercial real estate law. He practiced Law in Massachusetts for many years before moving to Minnesota in the early 2000's. He loved woodworking and making furniture for his home and the homes of his dearest friends. In his later years, you would often find Jim on the golf course of Applewood Hills during the summer months. He also enjoyed going out to lunch with friends and watching golf and football on television in the winter months.

Preceded in death by (Father Benjamin Claffey and Mother Frances Claffey of Mattapan, Massachusetts).

Survived by (Brother Tom Claffey of Hull, Massachusetts and Sister Ellen Riciadone of Bath, Maine).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
