Jackie Gary

Jacqueline (Jackie) Joan Gary, nee Schlagel, 77, of Stillwater, passed away on August 10, 2025 at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater. Jackie was born July 24, 1948 at St John's Hospital in St. Paul to the late Ronald and Eleanor Schlagel. Jackie worked as a secretary and as a clerk at the local pharmacy in North Branch. Jackie loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and lived her life with Him as her focus. Jackie also loved her husband of 56 years, Bill, along with her children, Brenda and Scott. Jackie is survived by her husband, Bill Gary; daughter, Brenda (John) Pace; son, Scott (Michelle) Gary; grandchildren, Marion (Noah) Bigbee, and John Michael Pace; step grandchildren, Thomas (Danielle) Grimes, and Theresa (Chad) Goodsell; step great grandchildren, Aiden and Emily Goodsell; brothers, Jerry (Nancy) Schlagel, John (Marilyn) Schlagel, and Jim (Dee) Schlagel; and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Eleanor Schlagel; and by her uncle, Red Koniar; and aunt, Irene Koniar. A visitation will be held on August 26, 2025 from 12:30 to 1:30, with funeral to follow from 1:30 to 2:30, at Oak Ridge Place Apartments in Stillwater (6060 Oxboro Ave N, Stillwater, MN 55082). A reception will follow from 2:30-3:30 with some of Jackie's favorite treats. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help Bill defray the costs of the funeral. Bill continues to live at Oak Ridge Place Apartments.
