Ivan Izzo

Ivan Izzo, left this world suddenly on 06/11 at the age of 47 doing one of the things he loved most, flying and perhaps enjoying a good old movie. He was a beloved son and husband, an amazing dad, and a wonderful friend to so many.

Ivan grew-up in Brazil and is preceded by his younger brother, Andre, survived by his parents, Valdecir and Leonilce Izzo, his wife Carita, and two sons Enzo and Vinny.  After starting a second chapter in the United States, they shared wonderful memories in their hometown, Eagan, Minnesota.

Although his time with us was cut short, Ivan lived a full life. He worked and lived intensely. He loved riding his Bianchi and Ducati bikes with friends, travelling, cooking a great burger and entertaining friends over the years.

A private service with only family members and closest friends present will take place, with a live stream of the event for his family and relatives in Brazil.

In lieu of flowers/gifts, a college fundraiser is being organized by Ivan’s friends to support Enzo and Vinny with their future academic endeavors. Please visit “ Fundraiser in loving memory of Ivan Izzo ” (gofundme).
