Ioan Homorodean, age 93 of Ham Lake, MN, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025.

Born on July 9, 1932, in Glod, Romania. Ioan lived a life defined by strength, resilience, and unwavering faith. He worked for many years in the mines, never shying away from hard work. He had a deep love for motorcycles, tools, clocks, watches - and a rare gift for fixing just about anything. His hands were skilled, and his spirit steadfast.

Ioan had a strong belief in his Orthodox faith, which guided him throughout his life. He faced life fearlessly, right to the very end - a quiet pillar of strength for those around him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Hilda.

He is survived by his daughter, Lia; cherished granddaughters, Manuela (Cory) and Ramona; and his adored great-granddaughters, Adisen and Aubrie, Shala and Sachi. He also leaves behind his dear sister, Violeta Muntean.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at St. Mary Romanian Orthodox Church at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at 11:15 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery.
