Gwendolyn Marie Hedlund

Gwendolyn M. Hedlund passed away surrounded by loved ones at her daughter's home at age 89 on Sunday, July 26, 2026. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 13, 1937, to parents Louella and Gerhard Rick. We are grateful for her kindness, her creativity, and her boundless generosity. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and teacher. Survived by children Keith and Shawna (Jason), brother Gary (Gale), and grandchildren Tennyson, Wilder, and Wesley. Memorial service Friday, September 18 at Normandale Lutheran Church in Edina. 1 pm gathering; 2 pm service, reception following
