Born July 5 1927, passed away on January 27 2024. George was born in Wapheton ND and grew up in Breckinridge MN. Preceded in death by his parents, Florence and George Hunkins Jr.; wife, Arnella Hunkins; brothers, Richard Hunkins and John Hunkins. Survived by daughter, Amy Cooper; son, Paul Hunkins (Kathy); grandchildren Mat Hunkins and Kyle Hermann; and brother Philip Hunkins (Frances). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service, May 18, 2024, 10:30 am at St. Clements Episcopal Church, 901 Portland Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55104. Reception following service. Internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery Bloomington, MN on Tuesday May 21 2024
