Died September 16, 2022 at Lilydale Senior Living. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, graduated from Humboldt High School, and worked for several years at Applebaum’s Grocery Store. Customers would line up at her checkout because of her friendliness and gift of conversation. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; son, John Bandholz, daughters, Suzie Leavitt and Patty Standing; sons-in-law, Dick Boyd and Jim Standing; sisters, Helen O’Toole and Dorothy Cholewinski. She is survived by her daughter, Margie Boyd; sons, Dick (Marilyn) Bandholz, Jerry (Debby) Bandholz; daughter-in-law, JoAnn Bandholz; son-in-law, Curt Leavitt; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Friday, September 23 at Church of St. Matthew, 510 Hall Ave, St. Paul with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Community of Saints School or donor’s choice preferred.
