Faith Rose Hutterer

Faith Rose Hutterer peacefully finished her journey at the age of 69 at home, surrounded by the love of her husband, her daughter and sons, and her grandchildren.

Faith grew up in Bruno, Minnesota, with her parents and four siblings. After moving away, she married James W. Miller, and together they had three children: Jamie, Danny, and CJ. Faith was also a loving stepmother to Heidi.

Faith later married Dan, and they shared 40 years of marriage and life together. When Faith married Dan, she gained a loving partner and the wonderful added joy of welcoming his children, Mitch and Marissa, into her family. Faith and Dan loved setting off on cruises, heading to Country Jam, gathering for Cousin Weekends, and making family camping trips part of their life together. In her younger years, Faith enjoyed gardening with Dan. She especially enjoyed fishing and hunting with him, her mom and dad, her brothers, her sister, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Faith dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured spending one-on-one time with them-making homemade pizzas and cookies or going outside to make snow angels in the winter. The holidays meant so much to Faith, especially when her children and grandchildren were all together with her.

Faith had a spirited personality and a quick wit, and she was never afraid to speak her mind. She was funny and brought plenty of laughter to those around her. Her family loved being around her; her kind, fun-loving nature made time together all the more special. She loved dancing to classic country music and Elvis Presley, cheering for the Washington Redskins, doing puzzles and reading. She also loved birdwatching, and spotting a cardinal was always a special treat.

Faith was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Monette, and her mother, Lorraine Monette. Her beloved son, CJ, passed away just six days after her. Our family finds comfort in imagining Faith and CJ together again in heaven.

She is survived by her husband, Dan; her daughter, Jamie; her son, Danny (Nicole); her stepson, Mitch (Jaime); and her stepdaughter, Marissa. She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne (Elaine), Marty (Vicki), and Larry (Bobbi); her sister, Evy; and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart and brought her so much joy all the way until the end.
