Doroteo "Richard" Vasquez

A longtime West Side resident, Richard worked a long career at Armour & Company, after which he retired from work at Our Lady of Guadalupe. He loved bowling, pool, Mexican music and dances, watching the OLG Guad 3 Team and the Minnesota Twins, and traveling. Most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 9 sisters; 1 brother; and his infant grandson, Derrick Anthony. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Alicia; beloved children, Lupe (MaryJo), Terry, Lena (Monroe), Robert (Candace), and Elizabeth; grandchildren, Vanessa, Nicholas (Nicki), Angela (Alex), Ariana, Marquis, Anthony, Zachary, and Jolicia; great-grandchildren, KayLena, Antonio, and Jameson; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 27th, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 401 Concord St, St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
