Dora Jane (Manantan) Rowell

Dora Jane Rowell age , passed away on . Born April 18, 1938 on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. She
was the middle of 5 children. She graduated from Kauai High School. She then joined the US Army,
where she met her husband, Charles W. Rowell. After his retirement from the Army, they settled and
built a home in Zumbrota, Mn. Dora Jane enjoyed traveling to Europe, across the US, but especially to
Hawaii to visit her family. She was an avid singer and spent many years singing with the church choir and
played the piano. She was also an excellent homemaker, she loved to cook, bake, and enjoyed doing
many types of crafts.
Dora Jane was preceded by her husband. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Friday, January 5 at 9:30am, Assembly Area 6.
